Ronald Dotson Ronald Dotson received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Music History/Literature and Viola from San Jose State University, and a Master of Arts degree in Music History from the State University of New York at Stony Brook. He has been an Associate Faculty member at West Valley College for seven years, teaching Music Appreciation, Theory, Chamber Music, Beginning Piano, and conducting the West Valley Symphony and Chamber Orchestras. His main musicological interests include reception history, genre studies, and, especially Beethoven. As a performer he has maintained a private violin and viola teaching studio, worked professionally as a violist, and is a member of the New International String Quartet. |
