Stretch and Flex Exercise #3
Neck/Half Circles

  • Sit up with your legs crossed
  • Keep a straight back, with your ear, shoulder, and hip lined up
  • Have a slight pelvic tilt
  • Look to the side with your chin over your shoulder
  • Take a deep breath in, exhale as you stretch through to the other side

  • Draw a half circle on your chest with your chin
  • Keep your chin touching your chest at all times

  • Let your head hang or be heavy throughout the stretch

  • Continue to draw a half circle on your chest with your chin as you exhale
  • Keep your chin touching your chest at all times

  • When you complete the half circle, start over by taking a deep breath in, and then exhale as you repeat the stretch in the reverse direction
