Assessment Testing Schedules

No Appointments Needed! Arrive at least 10 minutes early.
You MUST bring your West Valley (or Mission) Student ID number and a pencil.

Also bring valid photo ID (Driver's License or Student ID) 

 

 

 

 

An application for admission must be on file in the Admissions Office prior to attending an assessment session. Contact the Assessment Office at (408) 741-2035 or the Counseling office at (408) 741-2009 if you need additional information.

Special Accommodations

If you have a verifiable disability, you may request accommodations for assessment. Contact the DESP Office at (408) 741-2010 for further information.

Attending a Testing Session

• Apply to WVC and obtain a Colleague ID number.
• Select a testing session for the appropriate test(s) from those printed above or call (408) 741-2009 to schedule a day and time if you are unable to attend during the scheduled times.
• Bring your photo WV ID with College Number, not your Social Security number.
• Bring two #2 pencils with erasers.
• Bring 8 quarters to pay for parking (or 2 one dollar bills)

Note: Please arrive 15 minutes prior to the indicated start time.
There will be absolutely NO admittance after the testing session begins.

Assessment recommendations are available on the date announced in the testing session. Students can obtain their scores in the following ways:

• To authorize someone else to pick up your scores, you must put the request in writing, including your name, WV College ID or Social Security number, the name of the person to whom the scores are to be released, date, and your signature.
• To request scores by fax or mail, your written request must include name, WV College ID number, date, and your signature. Fax requests to (408) 741-4076 attn: Assessment Office. Be sure to indicate how the scores are to be returned, either by mail or fax.
