Due to popular demand, Niosha Dance Academy will be here again to be a part of our Iran/Afghan New Year celebration at West Valley College on March 19th 2009 from 12:00 to 2:00pm in the Campus Center.
We are inviting you and your class to this informative, entertaining, and joyous event. Our program consists of a brief history of the Iran/ Afghan New Year, an Iranian folklore dance performance by Niosha Dance Academy, live music, a Middle Eastern slide show, traditional Iranian new year table and refreshments.
The event will expand students' cultural perspectives and will assist them in obtaining a clearer knowledge of Middle Eastern traditions.
