West Valley College and San José State University have received funding to send students on a study semester in Brazil,
beginning in spring 2008. The scholarships will provide stipends of $3,500 through the grant awarded by FIPSE, Fund for the
Improvement of Postsecondary Education, in the U.S. Department of Education.
