Important Information:
GRADUATION CEREMONY:
When: Friday, May 28, 2010 at 5:00pm front lawn of Applied Arts and Science Building. Please arrive at the lower courtyard between the Admissions & Records & Business Buildings by 4pm in your cap and gown. You should pick up your cap/gown no later than Thursday, May 20, 2010.
Details: To participate in the ceremony you are required to wear a graduation gown and cap. Each
graduates name will be listed in the Graduation Program.
If you do not want your name listed,
please contact the A& R Office at 408-741-2034 no later than Thursday, May 20,
2010.
- Caps and Gowns may be purchased at the College Bookstore beginning April 1st, and are yours to keep.
- Degree and certificate candidates will wear a cap and gown; cost is $42.70 plus tax.
- Students can also order their graduation announcement packages at www.CBGrad.com ^. Please see the enclosed flyer for information regarding options for personalized announcement ordering.
- Parking is free for the ceremony. Please park in the college parking lots.
Preparing for the Ceremony:
- On graduation day, before you arrive at the lower courtyard between the Admissions& Records and the Business Buildings, please leave your personal belongings (Jackets, purses, gifts, flowers, balloons) with your family members or friends. During the ceremony, you will file out of your row, but you will return to a different seat; therefore, it is important you not carry anything with you.
- You will be given a card to complete. You will print your name clearly (phonetically, if necessary) for announcement of your name when you receive your certificate or degree holder on stage.
- You will also write your name and address on this card and it will be given to the photographer so they may send you information about the pictures taken as you walk across the stages.
At the Ceremony:
- A professional photographer will be taking pictures during the ceremony. You can purchase your photo at www.brightroom.com ^.
- Flowers will be available for purchase at the ceremony. Sponsored by: Mission College Floristry Program

Student Graduation Information
- Students planning to graduate with either a certificate or diploma should first meet with a counselor to see that all requirements have been met, such as reading and information competency.
- A Petition to Graduate is due in the Admissions and Records Office
