Academic Background:

I received my B.A. in Spanish with an emphasis in Chicano Studies from Stanford University. I obtained my Master´s in Counseling with an emphasis in College from San Francisco State University.

Teaching ⁄ Counseling Experience:

Prior to arriving at West Valley, I was as an academic advisor at Stanford University where I worked primarily with pre-med students. I also worked as a counselor ⁄ instructor at Cañada College and Foothill College.
