The West Valley College Technology Center is a state of the art computer center with
over 700 PC and Macintosh computers. The Technology Center supports computer-related classes taught in
college departments which use computer resources to enhance student learning experiences. The Technology
Center has both instructional classrooms and a general area where students may practice the skills they learn
in class.
We hope that the time you spend working in the Tech Center will be educational and enjoyable. Please read our
policies page carefully; they are intended to
answer many of your questions about the Center's policies and procedures and to support you in your use of
the facilities.

The facility consists of seven classrooms in the Business Building and four classrooms in the AAS Building that are equipped with computers and printers. These are used for hands-on computer instruction. The Technology Center is located in the AAS Building. This is considered an open-lab for West Valley College students. The machines are both Dell and Macintosh computers. There is no fee for the use of the Technology Center but there is a charge for printing. Please come to the lab with $1 bills. The "pay for print machine" does not accept credit cards or coins.
The lab is open to all currently registered West Valley College students and is only available for college course work. All software for classes that require lab usage is supported in the Technology Center. Students wishing to register for the open lab must bring their West Valley College ID with a current semester's sticker (both available at Admissions) to the Technology Center.
