Welcome to the Child Studies Department
The students enrolled in Child Studies courses at West Valley College can make a difference in the lives of children and the future of our community. Courses are offered in the mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and online with a balance of theory, research, and real-world program practice. Financial aid, tuition and book subsidy, on-campus childcare, and childcare tuition subsidy are available. Most courses prepare students to transfer to the CSU system and into a Bachelor’s degree program.
