Course Description
This course provides a basic understanding of word parts, including root words, prefixes and suffixes, and how they are combined to form medical terms. Emphasis is on how medical terms relate to the major organ systems in the body. The course also emphasizes related medical specialties and pathologies with intensive practice in vocabulary building, pronunciation and usage.
