Course Description

This course includes instruction on basic business accounting principles that apply to everyday medical practice. Students have the opportunity to work hands-on with medical office financial records to become familiar with cash control, office record keeping, and payroll accounting. The course also offers students the application of concepts and procedures of medical billing using a practice setting or computer program.
