Course Description
This course explores theories, research, and practical applications of mindfulness, meditation, self-compassion, and kindness. Concepts of self-compassion and kindness are applied to overcome personal hardships. In addition, practicing compassion for others is explored as a key component of our own well-being. This course provides students the opportunity to gain experiential knowledge of well-being through secular mindfulness, meditation, and compassion practices.
