MUSC 001: Music History: Medieval, Renaissance and Baroque Periods

Course Description

This course is a survey of music history and literature from antiquity to 1750, including cultural, intellectual, and social influences. The instructor provides an in-depth examination of the development of Western European music through analyzing and synthesizing historical details and stylistic elements of the musical trends of the era.
