Course Description
This is the first of a 2-part series of Recording Arts classes. It is an introductory class to the Audio Recording Arts, covering basic recording studio skills including analog audio theory, signal flow, gain staging, microphones, mic placement, and tracking. Students have the opportunity to gain hands on experience recording, editing, mixing, and mastering audio. Upon completion, the course provides students with basic knowledge of applied audio concepts, production workflow, equipment functions, and audio editing software.
