This program provides instruction in English that focuses on helping ESL students improve their listening, speaking, reading, vocabulary, writing, grammar, and editing. Topics include listening and speaking strategies for a variety of academic and nonacademic settings, reading strategies for both fiction and non-fiction, grammar points, vocabulary acquisition, and writing/editing strategies that focus on various rhetorical patterns at the essay level as well as summarizing and paraphrasing skills.
