This integrated program provides instruction in English and cross-cultural skills for non-native speakers through speaking, listening, reading, writing, and building knowledge of grammar, vocabulary, and American culture and civics. Topics include concepts related to home, family, school, work, community, daily living, civic operations, and authentic task-based activities. Students who complete this certificate are ready for academic ESL.
