Greetings!

A little about me - I'm originally from Minnesota, grew up in a small farming town, raised by a very strong, resilient single mother. Although I miss the snow, I'm enjoying the warmer weather and being able to visit the ocean - so amazing!

I attended the University of Minnesota for my BA in Psychology and Criminology, went on to St. Cloud State University to receive my teaching licensure in Physical/Other Health Disabilities, and then California Polytechnic State University for my Masters in Educational Leadership and Administration. I lived in Costa Rica in a cloud forest, off the grid, for four years with my now ex-husband. During my time there I collaborated with others to run spay/neuter clinics for cats and dogs. I returned to the states because I missed working with students on tackling disability access challenges.
