Chem Jam and Prep is a FREE and FUN week-long chemistry preparation program designed to prepare students for their upcoming CHEM 1A, 2, or 30A course. Chem Jam has no homework or exams, and lunch is provided!
Chem Jam and Prep is designed to:
- Prepare students for their upcoming courses in Chemistry 1A, 2, or 30A
- Build confidence in areas such as unit conversion, reaction stochiometry, etc.
- Introduce students to current field of chemistry/STEM
- Connect with campus resources available during the semester to help student success (STEM Counselor and Center, Success Center, Math Resource Center, etc.) Prepare students for their upcoming Math 10 Statistics course.

Yes, Chem Jam and Prep will be held in-person at the days, times, locations listed above. Students attending in person classes must submit proof of vaccination to student health services.
