Side Thigh Chest

  • Start in the side laying position
  • Keep a straight line, with your ear, shoulder, hip, knee, and ankle lined up
  • Your top arm is in front of your chest, while your lower arm supports your head
  • Lower leg is slightly forward and may be bent at the knee for stability

  • Bend your top leg forward from the hip at a right angle
  • Take hold of your leg with your hand behind the knee
  • Exhale as you gently pull your leg towards your chest, inhale, then exhale as you continue to pull leg towards your chest

  • To extend the stretch bring your head toward your knee
