Career Programs are courses leading to an Associate of Science Degree or Associate of Arts Degree and courses leading to a Certificate of Achievement. Our programs provide instruction in the skills and knowledge needed to enter or to make progress in an occupation.

So maybe you’re the kind of student who learns by doing. Or maybe you just like to work and gain experience that way. If so, we have just the thing for you: WRKEX or Work Experience. Work Experience is a course like any other.
Workforce Development strives to improve the college’s capacity to serve students, employers and our community through innovation and entrepreneurship. Our Workforce Development program obtains the resources necessary to pursue College strategies by aggressively seeking funds and in‐kind resources from outside sources, including grants from private and public sources, contracts, and fees.
West Valley College Extension offers a variety of workshops and classes to the community for personal and professional growth.
