Support Services

Support Services are provided on an individual needs basis. Eligibiliy for specific services is based on the recommendation of a DESP counselor or learning specialist. Services may include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Test Taking Accommodations (including extended test time, readers and/or scribes)
  • Use of computers for tests
  • Additional Tutoring
  • Note Takers (and NCR paper)
  • Sign Language Interpreters and Real-Time Captioners
  • FM Loop Loan
  • Liaison with faculty and campus programs
  • Liaison with community resources
  • Alternate media services (including Braille, e-text, Books on Tape, large print, and closed captioning)
