The first round of the AMATYC Student Mathematics League Competition will be held on Thursday, October 27th in SM 36.  Students may start any time between 4:30 and 5:00 PM and will have 60 minutes. 

Any student registered at West Valley College who has not earned a two-year or higher degree or junior standing is eligible to compete.  Students must have successfully completed a minimum of 12 semester units of community college coursework by the end of the academic term in which the second exam is given to be eligible for the grand prize.
