DESP: Etext/Alternate Media Procedures

Procedure for receiving etext and other forms of alternate media

1. Come to the DESP front desk and sign up for an appointment with the Alternate Media Specialist.

2. If ordering alternate media including etext, please bring the textbooks and class schedule with you for your appointment with the Alternate Media Specialist.

3. After we have processed the paperwork, we will request the media for you. Wait times for the media vary depending on availability.

4. We will contact you to pick up your alternate media when we have it in stock.

5. Trainings in Kurzweil are offered to students who are receiving alternate media. Sign up for an appointment at the front desk to learn how to use this software.
