CARE is a program designed to help single-parent students succeed in college. Because we realize that attending college and being a single-parent can pose many challenges, we will help you to achieve your educational goals. We work closely with CalWorks to provide "seamless" help for all of our CARE eligible students.
Have at least one child under the age of 14

The Peer Assisted Learning (PAL Academy) is a wraparound program where instructors, counselors and tutors collaborate to help students complete their math requirements. You could be a part of this exciting program. Many of our student in the past have struggled with their math classes. However, an average of 71% of the students who participated in the PAL Academy program have successfully passed their math classes.
