ASSIST is an online student-transfer information system that shows how course credits earned at one California Community College can be applied when transferred to the University of California or California State University. It allows you to explore major options and requirements specific to UC and CSU campuses.

University of California Pathways is the University of California's online undergraduate admission information and application network. It is designed to help students learn about the UC system, select a UC campus, plan to finance higher education, and apply for admission.

CSU Mentor is an online resource designed to help students learn about the California State University system, select a CSU campus, plan to finance higher education, and apply online for admission.

Association of Independent California Colleges and Universities

California Colleges is the state's official website that provides information about higher education in California - CSU, UC, Association of Independent California Colleges & Universities, and California Community Colleges. It is an online resource to help students explore colleges & careers, plan & pay for college, and college admissions.

National/International Resources

Peterson's provides information about colleges and universities, career schools, graduate programs, distance learning, executive training, private secondary schools, summer opportunities, study abroad, financial aid, test preparation, and career exploration.

Campus Tours is an online source for virtual college tours, college webcams, interactive campus maps, college videos, movies and pictures.

Historically Black Colleges is an online source for virtual college tours, college webcams, interactive campus maps, college videos, movies and pictures.

College Source Online features over 30,000 sources and College Catalogs in complete cover-to-cover original page format including 2-year, 4-year, graduate and professionals schools. WVC students may access this resource from the computers in the Transfer/Career Center in the Counseling Building.

Study Abroad provides listings for thousands of study abroad programs in more than 100 countries throughout the world.

UC Education Abroad Program has a program for every kind of student, with 130 top host institutions in some 35 countries.

Career Resources

Eureka provides career information and allows you to explore career, educational, and financial aid/scholarship options. It is available at the Transfer/Career Center and off-campus. To access Eureka off-campus contact the Transfer/Career Center at (408) 741-2040 or transfer@westvalley.edu.

Financial Resources

Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) provides financial aid information about grants, loans, aid to veterans, and online application can be accessed through this site.

FastWeb provides scholarship search, college directory, information on admissions, financial aid, money management, career planning, jobs, life after college.
