Resources and information included in this website have been developed to ensure your transition into WVC is smooth. We wish you continued success.
New State Regulations –
Veterans – Priority Registration
Starting Fall-2014 all students have to complete Assessment, Orientation and have an Ed-plan on file in order to take advantage of priority registration. If you are missing any of these components please see your counselor and Rhonda Kirkland to see what can be done to still get your priority registration date. Below are some options for orientation you can still enroll in if you are missing orientation.
New VA regulation as of 9/30/13 states, if a student completes a term with an F or No Pass grade it will be the students responsibility to have the instructor contact the VA Certifying Official at West Valley and provide last day of attendance. If this information is not received within two weeks of grades being posted, the VA Certifying Official will report to VA that the grade was received due to lack of attendance and the student will be responsible for any overpayment. Please contact Rhonda Kirkland, Certifying Official if you have any questions.
The West Valley College community supports students along their pathways to reach transfer and career goals in an environment of academic excellence.
