Distance Counseling

Distance Counseling connects a counselor with students having difficulty coming to campus and is facilitated by the Online Counseling Form. While you may use traditional email to contact an individual counselor with a question, the Online Counseling Form was designed to aid the counselor in formulating a more specific response relevant to your academic background.

If your question is too detailed or complex to be answered on-line, you may receive a message recommending that you see a counselor on campus for assistance. Questions submitted are answered in the order in which they are received, and we ask that you allow two working days for a reply.

Please note that online personal / crisis counseling is not available. Distance counseling is intended solely to assist students in answering basic questions that are academic or procedural in nature.

You are encouraged to view the FAQ (frequently asked questions) list and / or the student support services links below before emailing questions, as these resources may provide you with the immediate answer.
